VideOptimizer Wins!!!

I will take a win over a multi-million dollar company anyday. I went to check on their status of video view count for their video and funny enough they took it down. Smart choice considering theirs was poorly made had no sound like mine and contained 52 minutes of video where as my condensed version of theirs contained less than 3 minutes of content. that is one of the secrets to YouTube Marketing. You need to keep videos short and too the point if you want lots of content show the content in bullet point form.

Strategies to developing a good video commercial online.

1. Keep it short and simple
2. Make sure your Product is mentioned during the Ad
3. Make sure your Company Name or Logo is in the Ad
4. Make sure you title the video effectively so that people will find it
     a. example: a dentist produces a dental video about the new CEREC technology in his office.
     b. Title Example: Cerec Dentist in Las Vegas, Nevada
           1. Effectiveness: Title explains service industry and location these are all SEO mechanisms because if                patient in Las Vegas, Nevada wanted to search for a dentist that has Cerec Technology that                          patient may end up Google Searching: Cerec Dentist in Las Vegas, Nevada, or Las Vegas Cerec                  Dentist. or various other searches containing those key words. therefore key word titles are very                    efffective in branding and highlighting your videos properly
     c. If you have multiple videos about Cerec Technology, Pick a more specific community within your city            to add to your video title. also some people may not be familiar with Cerec Technology and more                  familiar with the generic terminology of CAD/CAM Dentistry. This could also make for a good title                because of the broader reach and broader scope you may be able to cover with that type of title.
5. Keep your videos preferably less than a minute after that you may lose attention before the key points of       your video have been explained.
      a. Short powerful statements describing products and services is always best so that viewers can get the           gist of your video quickly and so that they can remember you video.
      b. avoid information overload and Industry Jargon. These can work against you if viewers are not                     familiar with the terms you use or if you give too much information in one video.
      c. creating shorter videos with less content and jargon can be effective in creating and maintaining                       viewership. If viewers see short informative videos coming out on a regular basis they may find it                   interesting to follow your video series and gain lots of info from you over a longer period of time. this             not only benefits you by having more videos it also benefits you as being the information guru about a             particular industry.

Being the preferred source of information takes time and dedication. viewership will come over a longer period of time if your information is catered to an interested and important topic. Sometimes you may need to have those you already know and work with be your viewing audience and your social followers first as a way to use these connections to reach out to a broader audience.

Social Media Marketing Example: If Steve works for you and Steve follows your company and forwards company videos and posts on Google+ and other social media outlets. Steve is able to do your marketing to everyone that he is friends with that you and your company are not friends with. Social Media Marketing if done effectively can be your best source for new revenue Steve never has to tell Jo Ann Specifically to check out your company. He is doing that inadvertently every time he shares, Plus 1's, forward, and/or follows your business content on Google Social Media Outlets. Jo Ann (a friend of Steve's on Google+) likes to find products and services provided by local companies through her friends. She may not have to ask Steve who his dentist is or who his favorite place to buy groceries is or any other question if Steve is using his Google+ account to follow his favorite companies then Jo Ann has all those answers at a click of a button simply by viewing his pages and seeing what Google+ pages Steve likes. Steve's Social Media Network will become an extension of your Social Media Network. If you have 10 employees and require all 10 to do the same as Steve or offer incentives your Social Media Reach can become very extensive very quickly.

I love Social Media for the Free Online Marketing it offers to businesses world wide. The difference between being seen and invisible online may be your effectiveness at creating a solid social media network within your target market or target geographical area.
